VIVA London Road special
For the June 2014 Viva Brighton Magazine, I contributed a collage front cover and centre spread. The Front Cover Collage will be available at our May 2016 Open Studio
With other Brightonscape collages. St Bartholemew’s church is England’s largest parish church. It is simply enormous and dominates the whole area below the station.
It has a great baroque interior and fab acoustics.
This is the centre spread map- showing the early regeneration of London Road.However at the time someone clearly didn’t like what was going on! (see below)
Now London road is even better with as the huge Co-op department store has been sensitively redeveloped
I wouldn’t want to see any more buildings being painted black though.
